Camera Flying is a great way to keep developing your skills at the same time that you capture all those cool moments in the air, while having a lot of fun at the same time.
To our advantageaction camera's technology has evolved to a point where our work becomes somewhat easier to do. Still, having any type of camera setup on your skydiving helmet is a change to your natural system, which then translates into extra procedures that you need to take into consideration.
To start with, anything sticking out of your helmet automatically becomes a snag-hazard point, so by having a camera on your skydiving helmet you need to be aware of said hazards by being educated and prepared to minimize these points and handle the situation.
If you are looking to start jumping with an action camera on your helmet or, for example, start filming some tandems, get in touch.

Most countries have their own rules and recommendations about when a skydiver should be allowed to jump with a camera on its helmet.
In general, when it comes to jumping experience, the minimum of 200 jumps seems to be the common recommendation, although some countries might differ, but not much. On top of it you also need to have clearance from either yourInstructor, Chief Instructor or Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA).
It is then a good idea to be guided from the start, and you can get that with ParachuteMe byTM®.
We will discuss helmet/camera "combos", associated gear, hazards, procedures ( on ground, in-airplane, in-air, under canopy) amongst other things.
We will also do some jumps together (can range from 2 to as many as required) where we can practice what we discussed in a more controlled environment.
If, for example, you reside in Denmark, with this training you can obtain your DFU (Danish) Camera Udtjek Stamp.
